3D Digital Volumentomograph

CT Scans also known as Computed Tomography Imaging, are key to accurate diagnosis. Larger single Panoramic radiographs (X-rays) and 3D Computed Tomography Imaging (CT Scans) are a critical and indispensable tool for your doctor to properly assess the condition of your mouth. Dental radiographs can aid in the screening and diagnosis of pathologies such as cysts, infectious abscesses, oral cancers, or bone loss due to periodontal disease. Information provided by these technologies help our dental surgeons in devising accurate and risk free treatment plans.

Our own Dental Laboratory

You don’t need to make unnecessary further appointments. Our experienced dental technicians can provide you with immediate support if needed.

Dental treatment under General Anaesthesia

Do you feel nauseous, stressed out before an upcoming dental treatment? Would you like, perhaps, to have both upper and lower jaws done at the same time? Dental treatment under General Anaesthesia may be the answer.
All necessary examinations, such as: lab tests, chest X-ray, ECG, examination by our anaesthetist, etc, are done at our clinic the day before your treatment. Make sure you do not eat, drink, or smoke for 6 hours before treatment. You should wear comfortable, loose clothing.
Experienced anaesthetists support our dentists’ work for your safety. Under general anaesthesia, you sleep through the treatment and remember nothing of it. After treatment you are escorted into a comfortable resting area, (where your condition is monitored) which you will be free to leave 3-6 hours later.

Crowns and Bridge restoration

Crowns are used when a restoration is needed for broken or discoloured teeth. When one or more teeth are missing, bridges (also known as fixed partial dentures or FPD) can be used to suspend replacement teeth across the toothless area. These bridges are usually made of porcelain fused to a noble metal, such as gold or silver/palladium, and are cemented into place.
At a mutually agreed time, and after making an imprint and circumferential bulk reduction of the appropriate teeth, you will be given a fixed, functional, but temporary prosthesis. We will give you the permanent fixture in a week time. If you also need other surgical treatments, eg extractions, root-canal therapy, etc, these should be done prior to the crown or bridge restoration treatments. Treatment plans are based on and aided by panoramic radiographs. Stages of the treatment are discussed with you during the planning and scheduling phase.

Permanent restoration in combination with partial denture

Permanent restorations in combination with partial, removable dentures are made in cases when you still have some of your teeth left, but their number is insufficient to properly support a permanent bridge and the use of implants are also not feasible.
Partial dentures can be attached to permanent crowns or to a few of the remaining teeth for stability and retention by clasps, buttons, slides, or by telescopic crowns. The length of treatment depends on the treatment-plan tailored personally on you.

Removable prosthesis

Complete, removable dentures are made for clients who have no teeth left at all and implants are not feasible.

Implants

At our clinic we can place implants in the place of missing teeth. Dental implants are titanium screw-like fixtures which are surgically placed into the jaw bone to provide support for dental restorations after healing. With their aid permanent fixtures can be built into places where only removable dentures were possible in the past. In other cases, where removable denture is the only solution, implants provide greater stability to the removable part. Alternatively, where teeth are missing, an implant can save its neighbouring healthy teeth from circumferential bulk reduction to fit a crown or a bridge.
With the aid of a panoramic radiograph of your teeth our oral surgeons can decide weather your bone is suitable for (receiving) implant fixtures. If so, implants can be placed surgically into your jawbone as early as the first visit. You would also be provided with a temporary teeth replacement fixture if needed. The length of this treatment depends on the time needed for making the temporary teeth replacement fixture, but it cannot be longer then a week. Stitches can be removed 10 days later even by yourself.
Permanent teeth replacement fixtures are done 6 months later. Non-removable bridges are made in a week; however, we guarantee the shortest possible treatment time at other, combined works as well.

Treatment in Oral Hygiene

Tartar (calculus) formation and dental plaque are primary factors in the development of tooth decay, gingivitis, halitosis, and periodontal disease. Ensuing inflammation of the gum can create abscesses in the body. This is the reason why maintaining your oral hygiene is so important. Coronal plaque, calculus and stain that can potentially afflict your dentition are removed by ultrasonic and polishing procedures to keep your gum healthy. Regularly scheduled treatments along with periodic exams by your doctor in every 3 to 6 months will ensure your dental health and feeling of comfort.
Chronic inflammation can easily develop around the root of a decaying or loose tooth, or as a result of an incomplete root-canal therapy. Such inflammations may not only be the culprit behind the loss of a tooth but are often the cause of major health risks, such as: temperature without an apparent cause, acute rheumatoid fever, inflammation of the kidney (nephritis), inflammation of the heart muscles (myocarditis), the loss of hair, digestive problems, chronic fatigue and weakness, etc. Half yearly dental checkups can prevent these conditions from developing.

Zirconium

Q: What is in common in Formula 1 and the teeth restoration treatments we provide at our clinic?
A: Zirconium-oxide!

Zirconium-oxide is a material used for its high durability and extra light weight as part of the braking mechanism in Formula 1 racing cars as well as part of the structural frameworks of a new, cutting edge dental restoration technology. We like to pride ourselves in being always up to date with the latest technology and using the best materials available on the international market, so we can make your crowns or bridges from this tooth coloured, tissue friendly, non-allergenic material at our clinic if you choose so. It will make your smile even more natural.

Orthodontics

Irregular teeth are difficult to clean and need greater exertion. So they may not only be an aesthetic concern but may become loose faster. Fortunately, tooth irregularity can be corrected by orthodontic treatment with good results in childhood. However, in many cases, such corrections are still possible and worth having even in later years. So we can only ecourage you to pay us a visit if you have longed for a correct smile for a while.
